Infection: It could be a fungal, yeast, infection, or possibly a bacterial infection usually caused by staph or strep bacteria. Any over-the-counter antifungal cream a woman uses for vaginal yeast would work for that cause. Quicker diaper changes and gentle cleaning may help.
