9 Weeks Pregnant Slimy Yellow Discharge
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
Staphylococcus: If you are pregnant and virginal it is the second time in history. Just kidding. Vaginal culture showing Staph is meaningless unless you know what species of Staphylococcus you are dealing with. What is usually being looked for is Group B Streptococcus, an organism which can produce severe infection in your baby after delivery. Discuss this with the obstetrician. Good luck and have a great baby.
Probably not, but...: At nine weeks in pregnancy, an ultrasound examination could be useful in allaying any concerns. Unless your dating is off, you should be seeing a pregnancy in the uterus, and you should be seeing a heartbeat. Pink discharge could be bleeding - which could herald a miscarriage, or even a tubal pregnancy. So get yourself checked - and hopefully, reassured. Good luck. Lgromkomd.
Discharge: An increase in discharge due to the hormones is normal when pregnant. If the discharge itches, burns, or has an odor, however, can indicate an infection and you should see your gyn.
I'm 9 weeks pregnant and have had oderless thick stretchy yellow discharge on and off is this normal?
Not normal. Common: This is a common occurance at this stage in pregnancy. If it isn't causing any symptoms, I wouldn't do anything about it. If it changes, call your doctor.
Could be blood: Brown discharge could actually be blood that has turned brown upon exposure to air. Spotting during early pregnancy is common. However, it might be best to see a doctor, since there is a small chance that the bleeding could be a sign of a miscarriage.
Likely but: A little pink discharge at 9 weeks pregnant can be normal, such as from implantation bleeding, or from a fragile cervix. But it is occasionally related to possible miscarriage, so I recommend my patients in this situation to call the office and get checked.
Vaginal discharge: Need more information. You should be examined and treated by your obstetrician. This cannot be solved over the internet. As per my answer yesterday would need more info about this organism. Good luck.
I am 9 weeks pregnant and have had some brown discharge for the last few days. It seems to be getting a little heavier. Should I be worried?
9 weeks pregnant. Had increased discharge since finding out. Last 4 days I've had none. Is that normal. Having some brown spotting, but seen heartbeat?
Very common: Keep an eye out. If you develop red bleeding like a period or strong cramps, you should call your doctor. Otherwise you can mention this at your next visit.
White, tissue like discharge at 9 weeks pregnant, when I wiped it was tinged pink a little bit. Is this normal?
Probably OK: Especially, if you had intercourse recently, however, best to get it evaluated.
A friend is 9 weeks pregnant and is experiencing pains in the stomach and back with a brownish discharge, what is it?
Get checked: Anything from normal, to a potential miscarriage to a possible pregnacy in the tube. A simple ultrasound would probably answer the question.
I am 9 weeks pregnant, I feel vaginal smell, its something like the discharge smell, what do I need to do to get rid of it?
Please call your OB: You probably have bacterial vaginosis which needs proper diagnosis by culture and treatment with oral or vaginal antibiotics.See 1 more doctor answer
