9 Week Fetus Heartbeat
9 weeks pregnant today. 6 week ultrasound 160pbm. 8 week doppler 140bpm. 9 week doppler 130s? Is the 130s the baby or me?
Maybe but not likely: You have to understand that the usual way to date is weeks from the menstrual period, which is presumed( but not always )2 weeks from conception. But, if a good ultrasound is done and the first third of pregnancy, it should be accurate to within 5 days, not 2 weeks off! if within 5 days, they way still go by the menstrual period or probable date of conception... Talk to your ob! hope this helps. ...Read more

May be: The data you provided, falling HCG levels, is not a good sign. No heat beat at 6 weeks may be because it is too early. Fetal heart beat can be detected at about 6 weeks by vaginal ultrasound. Yes…: The normal range for fetal heart rate (FHR) is 120-160, so 127 is considered normal. However, the FHR alone is insufficient in determining the wellbeing of a fetus. Im 7 weeks pregnant from ivf, hCG rising, now at 20700. 7 week scan had gest sac @ 13mm and yolk sac, no fetal pole or heartbeat. Is pregnancy doomed?
I am afraid so.: Your transvaginal sonogram should have shown a fetal pole and heart tones after a beta HCG level of 6, 000. Your rei specialist can fill you in on the issues of early pregnancy failure after ivf, which include molar pregnancy, blighted ovum, heterotopic and ectopic pregnancies. At your age, you should achieve a successful pregnancy within 2-6 ivf cycles. Best of luck! ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
