I am 31 week pregnant, having didephly uterus. Baby weight is 4lb. Does uterus shape will effect baby in any way I mean size? Mental physical growth?
Didelphys uterus: If your baby is 4 pounds at 31 weeks, that is a very healthy and normal weight, actually higher than average at 31 weeks. Didelphys uterus increases the risk of preterm birth and probably need for c-section. But baby should develop normally provided there aren't any other pregnancy complications. ...Read more
Issue after c-section I had a c-section about six weeks ago and I do not think my uterus has completely gone down to it's original size. I'm concerned that this may cause problems since my husband and I would like to start trying again for another baby in
Usually: Usually it takes 1 to 2 months for your uterus to involute or shrink down to a non pregnant size. However the size will always be larger after a term pregnancy and with a c-section the position of the uterus can change. It is only 6 weeks since your delivery so perhaps this is why but if it does not shrink soon you should go to see your health care provider to make sure there is not a uterine fibroid or other reason. Having a larger uterus because of a pregnancy does not prevent future pregnancies as long as the uterus is still a normal uterus. ...Read more

Do I need treatment now, no symptoms, 1 yr ago endometrial lining thickened to 39 mm, uterus enlarged to 13 weeks size with lots of small fibroid?
Maybe: If had a biopsy a year ago and your doctor ruled out cancer as cause of your thickened lining, and you're not having any irregular bleeding, then you might be okay. An endometrial biopsy is only good for 1 year, so it may be time to discuss any uterine conditions with your doctor again. Lots of small fibroids often do not need to be operated on, especially close to menopause. Call dr for appt. ...Read more

My uterus is the size of 12 week pregnancy and I've had heavy, long periods. 2 years ago I had the Mirena put in. During a heavy period, it came out?
Mirena ejection: The uterus needs to be examined for uterine fibroids by ultrasound or pelvic exam at this 12 weeks size.
