8 Months Pregnant Baby Not Moving
I'm pregnant in 26th weeks and from the beginning my baby not moving a lot until now, my last ultrasound was in 22 w and everything is ok?
Probably: If your ultrasound at 22 weeks was ok, and the baby hasn't had a significant change in activity level (was moving a lot and now not at all) most likely all is well. Some babies are more active than others, and may be more active at certain times of day. If you are really concerned, a quick check-up with your doctor is the right thing to do. ...Read more

Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

I am 28 weeks pregnant with twins, I'm having a severe back pain and pelvic pain, do I need to go and see the Dr or is it normal. The babies are very active, I feel lots of movements.

First time pregnant and 26weeks 1day today and I haven't felt baby moving in past 24 hours. Should I be worried?
Fetal movement: At 26 weeks, babies can begin to have sleep and wake cycles. To wake up the baby, I suggest drinking orange juice or apple juice which has a high sugar content and then see if that increases fetal movement. If not, call your doctor and make an appointment to have the fetal heart rate checked. Usually eating and drinking will increase fetal movement. ...Read more

Need MFM evaluation: Although a change in the character or the frequency of your perceived fetal movements and "kick counts" is not unusual, it would be wise to consult a Maternal-Fetal-Medicine specialist and schedule a sonogram, NST (non-stress test), a BPP (biophysical profile) and AFI (amniotic fluid index) to confirm the well being of your 7 months fetus. ...Read more

Hi. I am 19 week pregnant. I has a ultasound and the baby is not moving at all, and around the babyno watters, only hearbeat is still there. Why is that?
Need HighRisk OB: Many possible causes. Low movement is not worrying at 19 weeks, and the heartbeat is reassuring. I am worried about the low fluid. Was the sono done at your doctors? They may send you to a specialist. Also need to see if low fluid or no fluid. For no fluid, two most common causes are kidney problems in fetus or preterm rupture of membranes, both of which are not good. Low fluid needs following. ...Read more

I am 19 week pregnant wit my 3th child. I has a ultrasound and then baby is not moving at all, and around the baby no watter. Why is that? Is it danger
Could well be: Absence of fluid around the fetus is disturbing and could indicate a problem with the fetal kidneys (blockage, not formed), fetal heart failure, or leakage of fluid. If fluid is absent then the fetal lungs will not develop properly and there can be problems with muscular development. A repeat ultrasound will be needed to see if there are conditions that can be treated. ...Read more

Well?: Not really. This is just the time you start to feel movement so it can easily be percieved to be decreased. Secondly, god forbid, there is a problem the baby is non viable (could not survive). Don't panic, the incidence of fetal death at 22 weeks is low and the percieved lack of fetal movement is high at this gestational age. Low fetal movement later in pregnancy is more worrisome. Hope it hlps. ...Read more
