Going on 28weeks pregnant still not really feeling movement does this mean Down syndrome? Baby with down syndrome does it move less in womb?

Not characteristic: Down syndrome fetuses usually kick just fine. You should see a perinatologist for a targeted ultrasound, if your dates are correct. Perhaps you are not as far along as you thought? Have you had obstetric care? Lack of movement at 28 weeks suggests either lack for amniotic fluid prohibiting fetal movement, or a neuromuscular or other condition preventing the fetus from kicking. ...Read more

Speculative: Mid-twenties female with 6th pregnancy and low back pain likely has pain generated by hypermobile sacroiliac joints (sij) caused by pelvic mass, secretion of ligament-relaxing hormone relaxin, and 5 prior pelvic mechanical insults. Joint hypermobility syndrome (see brighton criteria) might potentiate this. An sij belt might help, ; an ostetrician should be consulted for other possible causes. ...Read more

For pregnant lady, is it normal if the baby inside a mother's womb, frequently kick mother's belly last few days but today there's no kicking at all at this has been happening for almost 2 days. Should I be worried?

Probably: Very early in pregnancy movements may vary. However, later on, especially in the third trimester movements should occur daily. In the last few weeks of pregnancy I recommend kick counts (6-10 movements the hour after you eat). In your case since I don't know her gestational age, have her call her OB today and see if some fetal monitoring is needed or nonstress test needed. Don't delay. ...Read more
