8 Month Old Baby Not Sleeping Through The Night Anymore
Is it safe to give an 8 month old baby Infant Tylenol every day during teething to help with teething pain & discomfort? Baby's weight is 18 lbs.
Dreams: She is likely just dreaming, causing her to twitch which is the most common cause of twitching like this. I know you're probably worried if she's having seizures or something more serious like that. There's an entity called Infantile Spasms but she doesn't quite fit the criteria for that either. If she starts truly flexing her upper body, at the next or waist, take her to her pediatriian ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
8 month old baby fell out of crib to the floor (wood). Don't know how he hit the floor. He is now sleeping. Do you let him sleep or keep him up. See no signs of redness anyplace.
Not : Not enough information to make a reasonable recommendation other than to contact your pediatricians office for assistance. If he was my child i would want him checked out for injuries to either his head or other body parts that might not be obvious to you. That was a large fall for a child that age. ...Read more
I have 8 month old baby boy and I recognize this week when he sleep his fingers and toes twitching. I am so worried may be this is a problem?
Not unusual: Babies have a lot of dream sleep (REM sleep) and may move in many ways during sleep. I would be concerned if he's having rhythmic movement while awake that doesn't respond when you hold his arm or leg. That can be a sign of a seizure problem and should be checked by his doctor. ...Read more

Nasal saline: You can try nasal saline or use of a bulb syringe to clean out the nose. If a family member or household member smokes encourage them to stop. 11 month old baby gets up once a night for a bottle. How do I break this habit and get her to sleep through the night?
Gradual reduction: If you begin reducing the volume of the night feed & shift over to water, you will eliminate the "feeding clock" effect that gets baby up for a feed. Within 2 wks you should have a baby that may alert at night but won't be trained to seek a meal & should be able to self settle in the night. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My month old baby is healthy and growing healthy how much should he eat during the day if he is sleeping through night? Should I wake him?
Sleep consolidation: achieved between 1-4 mos. prevents behavioral sleep problems at 6 mos. & older. If he's gaining 2/3 o.-1 oz./ day, put him on his back in his crib in his own room, drowsy, but awake, to self-calm for sleep. It's not too early to set a bedtime, read, rock or cuddle in low light & wipe out his mouth with a soft cloth after his last feed, good habits to establish before 5 mos. when teeth erupt. ...Read more

Clarify question: Do you mean that she is congested, or that she had a study ( CT scan or MRI ) that showed " fluid in the sinus" (infants really don't have much in the way of sinuses anyway)? If congested for less than ten days, it is most likely just a cold, and there is nothing to do other than saline & suction nose if difficulty feeding ( too much can irritate). If other symptoms, she should see her doctor. ...Read more
