Why am I constipated even though I eat daily fiber and 2.5 liters of water each day. I also have a equal diet plan. Protein, carbs, veggies and fruit.

Ratio of foods: Ahhh, the classic answer is 40/30/30. That is 40% carbs, 30% fat, 30% protein. But I disagree. Much more important is to eliminate sweets and starches, getting 100% of carbs from non-starch vegetables and a small amt. Of fruit. The eat a modest amt. Of protein. To many variables!: It depends if you exercise a bit. You can be more liberal with carbs. Obviously if calories don't come from carbs, they come from protein and fat. Most people on a low carb diet consume 100-120g per day of proteinm 40-60g of carbs (after induction). Aside from fats in meat and dairy, go with nuts, monosaturated oils (olive, peanut, canola).
