7 Weeks Pregnant After Ivf
In vitro fertilization is an assisted reproductive technology. Ivf is a procedure used to treat fertility problems and assist with the conception of a child. During ivf mature eggs are retrieved from the ovaries and fertilized by sperm in a lab. A few days later, the fertilized egg (embryo) or eggs are implanted into the uterus. One cycle of in vitro fertilization ...Read more
7 weeks pregnant after IVF. Baby almost one week smaller (5.4 mm), with small gestational sac but strong heartbeat. No bleading. Are these bad signs?
IVF: No, these are not bad signs. Good luck and have a good pregnancy
I am 45 m early heartbeat at times. Now 7 weeks pregnant via IVF. Yesterday after eating started feeling fluttering on an off all night. Normal?
Not possible to say: The bottom line here, is you need to be checked out. At 45 your body is not as resilient as a 20 something, pregnancy is more of a physical challenge. In addition, the HCG molecule behaves biologically as if it were thyroid stimulating hormone, so women are mildly hyperthyroid during early pregnancy. That may cause arrhythmia and even a fib. You need to call OB, & an echo/cardiology consult per OB.
IVF, 7 weeks pregnant but scan shows 6 weeks, 1 five day blastocyst, I have 2 gesational sacs, one has a fetal pole and yolk sac and 2nd has nothing???
Repeat Ultrasound: After IVF, one can see several different scenarios. It is best to wait and repeat the ultrasound. Do not feel anything is wrong till a repeat ultrasound is done. Early ultrasounds can be confusing. Sometimes, twin pregnancies happen even with 1 blastocyst transfer as the blastocyst can divide. However, growth discrepancy can happen and one may survive and the other may not. Good Luck!See 1 more doctor answer
I'm 7 weeks pregnant from ivf, hCG rising, now at 20700. 7 week scan had gest sac @ 13mm and yolk sac, no fetal pole or heartbeat. Is pregnancy doomed?
I am afraid so.: Your transvaginal sonogram should have shown a fetal pole and heart tones after a beta HCG level of 6, 000. Your rei specialist can fill you in on the issues of early pregnancy failure after ivf, which include molar pregnancy, blighted ovum, heterotopic and ectopic pregnancies. At your age, you should achieve a successful pregnancy within 2-6 ivf cycles. Best of luck!See 2 more doctor answers
Hi hi I am not sure if I have miscarried or not. I have had mild dark blood off and on for 2 weeks. Dr. Said everything looked ok. I am 7 weeks pregnant by donor egg ivf. Tuesday this week I had ultrasound with confirmed heart beat. All looked good. This
Hi: Hi cheryl. I am sorry that you are going through this. The most common symptom for a miscarriage at this stage in pregnancy is bleeding. At about 7 weeks a miscarriage could cause cramping that is severe or the cramping might be mild. The bleeding could vary from hemmorhaging to light. It is hard to know if the material you passed is a product of conception. It is usually recommended that you see you doctor soon thereafter if you have light bleeding. For heavy bleeding, a trip to the er might be required due to hemorrhage. Ways that your doctor can tell if you have miscarried include a drop in your HCG level or an ultrasound. Take care.See 1 more doctor answer
I just turned 40, and have been trying to get pregnant for seven months with two failed IVF attempts in the mix. I heard something about a procedure that helps a woman hatch an egg so they can be fertilized. Does this method exist?
Yes: Assisted hatching is an ivf procedure that is done after fertilization to improve implantation of the embryo into the uterus. It is controversial and requires skill and experience and may be helpful in your case but is not for everyone. Icsi or intracytoplasmic sperm injection is a procedure that helps with fertilization. After 2 failed ivfs, a second opinion may be helpful. Best of luck!See 4 more doctor answers
Can I take HTC kit to get pregnant if I had my tubes cut tied and burnt seven years ago. I can't do the surgery or ivf please give me away it's my too?
Hmmm....: Getting tubes cut (tubal ligation) is PERMANENT, and done for women who will never want to get pregnant again in the future (meaning a permanent decision of no more pregnancies, forever). Tubes are not meant to be "uncut." In rare occasions a couple can save up money to harvest eggs laparoscopically, fertilize them into embryos, and implant them into the uterus... but that should be the exception.
IVF pregnancy: If you mean 4 weeks after embryo transfer: fatigue, occasional pressure and cramping, and mild spotting are all very common. You should've had a positive pregnancy test, serial HCG should be rising appropriately. Transvaginal ultrasound can show gestational sac (s), and you can usually see/measure a fetal pole and fetal heartbeat.
Nausea most common: 2 weeks after ivf would make you 4 weeks pregnant. So nausea is the most common symptom. In general you should not feel anything still from the ivf with 2 exceptions. Some women can still have enlarged ovaries which can cause discomfort. And some women can be overstimulated which can cause bloating. But in general you should feel like a normal early pregnant women with some aches and pains.
Hi 5 weeks pregnant after IVF no any symptoms except constipation and getting more hungrier is that normal please help me I'm so nervous.
Ultrasound: It seems it would really be helpful for you to get an ultrsound in 2 weeks. At that point, you might start to see something, a little gestational sac, for instance. It's hard, and nervewracking, but so long as you are eating healthy, getting rest, decreasing stress and exercising, then all you can do at this point is wait. It's normal to have no symptoms at this point in pregnancy.
I am 9 weeks pregnant after ivf. Scan showed empty but growing sac and possible yolk. Can this be a viable pregnancy?
At 9: Weeks the fetus should be easily visible on a technically adequate ultrasound, so if the dates are correct it is not normal. Discuss it with your doc, and take care.
5 weeks pregnant after IVF but no symptoms except constipation and more hungrier the usually is it normal I'm so nervous could something go wrong?
Nothing serious.: Your are pregnant and your body is telling you to make adjustments like drink more fluid to accommodate increase in blood volume and to increase your calories. Increase fluids, fresh fruite and veggies.
90%: If I understand your question correctly, you are asking the chance of live birth after you seeing a fetal heart beat at 7 weeks gestation. It depends, in general about 90%.
I have had tv u/s after IVF pregnancy at 6 w 5 days (h/r 110), 7 w 4 days (h/r 130) and 8 w 4 days (h/r 140). The h/r seem slow. Is this a concern?
How is week of pregnancy calculated after IVF? Transfer was 10, retrieval 7 of May; MaterniT 21 plus on July 14th. Was I after 10 weeks on JuLy 14th?
IVF dates: If your egg collection was on May 7th, that is how it is calculated. You are currently 22 weeks and 6 days. Yes, you were past 10 weeks on July 14th, you were about 12-13 weeks.
IVF Pregnancy: It depends on why you had ivf in the first place. If you have tubal disease, your partner has a low sperm count, or other specific factors, the chance is much less on your own. Still, if all the tests were normal before the ivf cycle and are normal now, you may get pregnant on your own.See 1 more doctor answer
My wife is 32 and 12w5d IVF pregnant with NT 1.79mm and double down possibility 1/3000. Do you advise harmony test?
Personal Decision: Most women who have IVF babies will not terminate a pregnancy despite any result. In these situations, it is not worth doing the Harmony test. If you are willing to act on the result then the harmony test is helpful in any pregnancy. The NT test is normal. A 1 in 3000 risk is also low. Good luck!
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
