Need clarification : If the sharp pain was 6 hours after your delivery then it was a tonic contraction of uterus, it's when your uterine starts the process of shrinking back to the pre pregnancy size. At the same time the thick inside layer starts sloughing off and you start having the post partum bleeding. How are you doing after a week now? Did you discuss this with you ob? ...Read more

Cramps: You are describing Crampy abdominal pain. Could be related to Ovulation, menstruation most commonly. If you have GI symptoms like Diarrhea then avoid solid food. Eat BRAT diet and lots of Liquid. With Diabetes you also want to make sure you do not have UTI . ...Read more
