Unsafe, unwise: I believe most extreme diets are unhealthy and unwise and this is a good example. I advise limiting protein to about 70 grams a day. Higher amounts puts stress on the kidneys, can cause osteoporosis and may reduce longevity- esp. if the main source is animal protein. Depends what type of: exercising you are doing? High intensity, triathlon, marathon, or short burst, walking, running, sprinting? If you are a long, term high intensity runner, triathlon, you need to have more calories (carbs) before hand to not burn up (or consume) your muscles as fuel instead of the carbs.
