Cysts are: But a 7cm ovarain cyst is relatively large and m,ay cause some pain, etc. Have the cyst followed regularly by the OB/GYN Dr/surgeon and it may need to come out, especially if it causes you pain and or has the possibility to become "torsed" where it would then require emergency surgery. Ovarian Cyst: Most ovarian cysts, even larger ones, will usually resolve spontaneously in younger women. However, if it is very painful for you, you can have it removed by laparoscopic surgery. Probably yes. : 7 cm is pretty large, a cyst this big could certainly cause pain. It could suddenly twist or burst, resulting in emergency surgery. Probably not a cancer. It could likely be removed using a laparoscope, resulting in small incisions. The sooner it is removed the better. ...Read more
