BP should be high : You are in beta blockers. Medications that will decrease the normal response of blood pressure and heart rate to exercise. If no beta blockers your blood pressure should be a little higher right after exercise. Have you have a stress test? What are the echo results? Any other symptoms? High HR : It is not clear why your heart rate is that high. I wonder if it is irregular and you might then have atrial fibrillation. As for now, it looks better and this could be the effect of medications like beta blockers. As long you are not dizzy, you can take your medications and increase water intake. You should try to talk to your md as well and get an ecg. Check your BP and pulse at the drug store. ...Read more

Symptoms? Not abnl.: The readings are just numbers. Unless you are having SYMPTOMS when standing or sitting, I would not worry about the numbers too much. 1st, make sure u r resting for 5 min b4 taking the readings. BP normally increases slightly when standing if ur body adjusts; a drop is more worrisome & could lead to Sx. Your HR shd also increase slightly when standing, so it is not abnormal. Sounds normal: The numbers you describe all sound normal. When you are relaxed, your heart rate and blood pressure are lower and when anxious or active, the numbers are higher. These all sound like normal numbers. ...Read more
