Gastric bypass: That depends on your height. If you are 5'3" and have no medical problems, you would qualify. If you are 5'7" and have medical problems like diabetes, high blood pressure, sleep apnea, asthma, gerd, etc., you would also still qualify. It is all dependent on your body mass index (bmi). See a bariatric surg: This is a very complex problem and you should see your bariatric surgeon to see what he recommends. You may require a surgery for reversal of the bypass. If your surgeon does not feel comfortable doing that complex surgery then you will need to see a surgeon that performs revision bariatric surgery. ...Read more

It can be your habits like eating too much, poor food choices, not enough exercise, etc., or it can be an anatomical problem with a stretched pouch, a dilated anastomosis, a gastro-gastric fistula, or some combination of all of these. Had gastric bypass-gained half of weight list back, but I still can't eat normally, & I seldom get hungry. Can't eat meat or much fruit. Any thoughts?

Eat solids, no sips: Weight regain after bypass is usually due to eating foods that go down comfortably. There is a tendency to fall into a pattern o slider foods (soups), sipping with food, and snacks. In essence you are defeating the surgery to lose weight, you need to eat foods that pack the pouch (bread, chicken, etc) and fill you up. Don't drink with or after meals or you will wash food down. ...Read more
