6 weeks pregnant no feal heartbeat on ultrasound?

6 weeks pregnant no feal heartbeat on ultrasound?

Depends: Did they actually see an embryo? If they saw an embryo over 5 mm long and there was no heart beat, then that is consistent with failed pregnancy. Otherwise, it just might be too early. Should get a followup. ...Read more

Pregnancy (Definition)

When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

Anteverted, bulky gravid uterus, single intrauterine gestational sac 2.7 cm gestational age 6 weeks 6 days no fetal pole is this OK?or a miscarriage?

Blighted ovum: A gestational sac without a fetal with a gestational age of almost 7 weeks is most likely a blighted ovum (non development of the fetus). Most likely with result is a miscarriage. If not you may need a D&C. Follow up with your gynecologist in 1-2 weeks. ...Read more

Lmp: 6 weeks 6 days. Ultrasound 5 week 5 days. (+) fetal pole hr @87, still bleeding, no cramping. Miscarriage?

Threatened AB: Any bleeding or cramping in your first trimester can be from a threatened miscarriage (or abortion, ab). The bleeding is always a worrisome sign and a fetal heart rate < 100 BPM is also worrisome. Follow your doc's instructions & remember that if you do miscarry, it is rarely from something you did and most are inevitable. Take care & best of luck. ...Read more

6 weeks 6 days pregnant. Had a ultrasound. Baby no heartbeat. Does that mean a miscarriage?

Not necessarily: If the fetus measures 6 weeks and 6 days size, then there should be a heart beat. If you are six weeks and six days from you last period, you may have ovulated later than day 14 and not actually be that far along. ...Read more

By LMP I am 7 weeks pregnant. Ultrasound at 6 weeks 3 days showed irregular sac, no heartbeat or yolk etc. No flow around sac. Hcg rising. Miscarriage?

By LMP I am 7 weeks pregnant. Ultrasound at 6 weeks 3 days showed irregular sac, no heartbeat or yolk etc. No flow around sac. Hcg rising. Miscarriage?

Early pregnancy: It's too soon to be sure what is going on. Often a woman will ovulate later and the lmp will not be accurate. The best option is to repeat the beta-hcg every 48 hours until 3 results are performed and a repeat ultrasound 1 week after the previous was done. That will usually solve the question. ...Read more

6 weeks pregnant (conception date). transabdominal ultrasound doesn't show anything. possible etopic? no s/s of ectopic.

6 weeks pregnant (conception date). transabdominal ultrasound doesn't show anything. possible etopic? no s/s of ectopic.

Different ultrasound: at 6 week gestation, your developing baby would be no larger than a pencil eraser and could easily be missed on a transabdominal ultrasound which depends on the skill of the of the ultrasonographer. Performing a transvaginal ultrasound would be another option. Waiting and repeating the transabdominal may be a good option as well, and your obstetrician should be able to help guide the choice. ...Read more

Im 7 weeks pregnant from ivf, hCG rising, now at 20700. 7 week scan had gest sac @ 13mm and yolk sac, no fetal pole or heartbeat. Is pregnancy doomed?

Im 7 weeks pregnant from ivf, hCG rising, now at 20700. 7 week scan had gest sac @ 13mm and yolk sac, no fetal pole or heartbeat. Is pregnancy doomed?

I am afraid so.: Your transvaginal sonogram should have shown a fetal pole and heart tones after a beta HCG level of 6, 000. Your rei specialist can fill you in on the issues of early pregnancy failure after ivf, which include molar pregnancy, blighted ovum, heterotopic and ectopic pregnancies. At your age, you should achieve a successful pregnancy within 2-6 ivf cycles. Best of luck! ...Read more

Transvaginal USG: Transvaginal ultrasound is most accurate duringvthe first trimester by 5-7 days. If >than 1 week off then your dating may be off because of ovulation etc. your period also plays a role in this. If your cycles are irregular then ultrasound dates may be off. Would considerva repest ultasound in a week to evaluate and see if pregnancy is progressing. Good luck. ...Read more

8 weeks pregnant ultrasound showed 4 weeks.fetal pole n yolk sac not seen gestation sac seen is everything alright?its my first baby

Most likely, YES: Ultrasound is superior to your period in dating early pregnancy. A gestational sac is the first sonographic sign of pregnancy and appears about 4 1/2 weeks. Next is the yolk sac at about 5 weeks. The fetal pole with a heart beat at about 5 1/2 to 6 weeks. So, yes, it appears your pregnancy is progressing normally. ...Read more
