Lmp jan 3/13 6 weeks pregnant. Hcg at 213 on feb 5 then 705 on feb 13, no sign of pregnancy in uterus ?

Maybe ectopic.: This is very concerning for a possible ectopic pregnancy. The HCG levels should ~ double every 48 hours, and if they don't it indicates either an ectopic pregnancy or an abnormal pregnancy developing in the uterus. What causes late rising HCG levels ? i mean i was 6 weeks pregnant but hCG was 148 then it still going doubling normally every 48 hours.but only sac

Early: An HCG of 148 is very early. As long as it is rising like you describe, it's a good sign. You don't expect to see a sac until the HCG reaches 1500 to 2000, and you won't see an embryo for at least another 1-2 weeks, and then just a small blip on the screen. If you are 6 weeks, though, you would expect to see something. Perhaps you are not as far along as you think. ...Read more

6 weeks pregnant and hCG levels rose from 13000 to 21000 and an empty amniotic sac that continues to grow as well, what is going on?

6 weeks pregnant and hCG levels rose from 13000 to 21000 and an empty amniotic sac that continues to grow as well, what is going on?

An issue: Most of the time when the HCG is at least 2000 to 5000 an embryo or at least a yolk sac can be seen. Since the sac is empty this might be a miscarriage situation in which the gestational sac is growing but there is no embryo. Speak with your doctors. ...Read more

Doctor told me I was around 4-6 weeks pregnant my hCG level is at 75. & im bleeding is there a chance the pregnancy can continue?

Bleeding in pregnanc: It is important with symptoms like this to follow-up with your doctor. Without any cramps or pain it is possible for a pregnancy to continue normally. An HCG needs to be done, then repeated in 2-3 days and see if the number is increasing normally. ...Read more
