This kind of story would put you at the bottom of the "urgent need" list, so you could expect to spend hours waiting while more urgent issues were taken ahead of you. If you think there is something dreadful going on rather than the "cold" it seems to be go ahead, but plan to wait hours. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My 22 month olds fever has broke, still has a really bad cough and cough til he pukes, his nose is runny non stop with light green mucous and stuffy?
Humidified air : And nasal saline. Most cold medications have side effects which are dangerous for children under age 4. I like humidified air via a steam bath. Use 1 inch of cold water in the tub then turn shower on hot. Stand in bathroom and allow warmed humidified air to soften secretions. Stand far enough to avoid burns. A few drops of nasal saline with gentle bulb suction also works well. ...Read moreSee 5 more doctor answers
Baby has a cough and runny nose now he has that rattle noise/ wet cough done humidifier, saline drops any suggestions?
My 22 month is running a fever of 100.8, coughing til he vomits, runny and stuffy nose, irritable.
Common cold: This sounds like a typical URI in a child. Might become concerned if they are sleeping excessively, confused or not eating normally. My advice is given with the admonishment that if you have any doubts you should have your baby seen by a pediatrician or your family doctor. Always better safe than sorry. Good luck and hope they are better soon. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
6 month old baby boy has stuffy nose and cold and not coughing though his tone has changed coz of this.not sure if he has sore throat.suggestions pls?
Nasal congestion: A 6 month old baby with stuffy nose swallows his mucus from the nose, and sometimes the tissues around the vocal cords (voice box) swells a little, causing a change in his voice. Not really a sore throat. See this: http://www.healthychildren.org/English/health-issues/conditions/ear-nose-throat/Pages/Children-and-Colds.aspx ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers

My 6 month old baby has been nose congested for 3 months now & snores at night, tried humidifier, saline drops, is it allegies? Can he take decongestant?
Not the best: Over the counter cold medicines are no longer recommended for children, because studies have not shown that they really help, and they often cause side effects. You should see your child's doctor to figure this out since it has lasted so long. It would be unusual to have this much trouble with allergies so young but there is a simple ige blood test to check for allergies. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
My son has had croup for 6 days. He is still coughing very bad, stuffed nose, watery eyes. We use a vaporizer every night. He coughs so hard he vomits?
Croup: How old is your son? If this is the first episode, no real issues. If it is recurrent he should be checked for reflux. First episode, check with the pediatrician. A steroid burst will reduce the inflammation and shorten the course. When he is coughing really hard take him into the bathroom and run the hot shower and the humidity will help stop the cough. If it is cold outside, take him there. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
