Been dealing with fleas for many months and my bites have been large and been blistering. Should I get tested for any diseases?

See a Dermatologist: Blistering bites can be caused by many things. If you are certain it is fleas, then take the appropriate action with pest control. However, I would suggest seeing a dermatologist to have the blisters evaluated and treated. That way you can make sure the blisters are, in fact, from fleas and not something else. Our 6 month old has what appears to be a small round blister or something on the right side of his tongue. Should we be concerned? Or is this common?

Depends: Kids will be kids, and a single, transient blister that is not seeming to "bother" him should not be a reason to worry; however, monitor it. If it grows, persists, or additional blisters form, that changes things and it will be time for a dental visit for a clinical diagnosis. ...Read more

My shingles blisters are still here, after a month. I took antivirals-why won't they go away? What's wrong?

Skin damage: It is likely the infection has cleared with the anti-virals, but the damage to the skin can take months to heal. It's not unlike a burn - the skin has to regenerate and create new skin cells, and these areas can be extra sensitive for weeks to months.
