See your doctor: You should be seen by an OBGYN. While miscarriage can occur with excessive cramping and bleeding, cramping is also a common pregnancy symptom. You should seek out a doctor so he or she can establish the health of your pregnancy early. This will put you more at ease too. Good luck! ...Read more

I had positive hpts at 4-5 weeks pregnant now at 6 weeks negative hpt I have not had any bleeding or cramps is it possible to still be pregnant ?

Yes but...: As long as you did the 6 week test on a first morning urine, you may still be pregnant, but it's most likely not a viable pregnancy. Most likely you'll have a miscarriage. Hcg should normally keep increasing daily in a normal pregnancy, so a positive pregnancy test won't become negative unless it's a non-viable pregnancy. ...Read more

I am 5 weeks pregnant and am bleeding slightly. I went to the dr 2 days ago and had an ultrasound and was told everything looked normal after bleeding some the previous days. I have no cramping or pain. Should I be concerned?

Sure - but not a lot: I could not tell you to ignore the bleeding - after all it is not normal. It is not rare, though, either, so take it for what it is: a threatened abortion. Folic acid 1-5 mg daily orally, bedrest and positive thoughts/prayers help. Best of luck! ...Read more

I just found out im pregnant my hCG is 169 and I should be 3 to 5 weeks pregnant. No bleeding mild cramping and nothing detected to be forming yet why?

Too early to see: You can't see a 3-4 week normal pregnancy on ultrasound. Your HCG has to be significantly higher to be visible, usually greater than 1, 000. Give it two more weeks and if your HCG is rising appropriately, your pregnancy can be confirmed. Good luck! ...Read more

Im 9.5 weeks pregnant and im having cramps on my right side around what would be my ovary is that normal or could it be early miscarriage? No bleeding

Could be ovary: Having cramps on the right side in early pregnancy but no bleeding could be from the right ovary. The ovary that released the egg often forms a cyst, due to the hormones the ovary is producing. That cyst will go away on its own but can cause some discomfort. The cramping could also be from gas in intestines or constipation. Since no bleeding unlikely to be miscarriage. ...Read more

Hi i'm 5 weeks pregnant bleeding and cramping I went to the er I got a rhogam shot and the bleeding and cramping stopped does this mean my baby is ok?

Maybe: It's too early to say if the baby is okay. At 5 weeks all you can see by sonogram is a small pregnancy sac. Bleeding during pregnancy is very common and many women who experience it go on to have normal pregnancies. If the bleeding continues and becomes heavier, then you may be miscarrying. The only advice is to practice pelvic rest (no intercourse) and don't over exert yourself. ...Read more
