Can physical activity @ warm weather raise a temp to a fever level if a toddler plays outside when hot, & if it goes back to normal once calmed down?
Yes- warning sign: Being active outside on a hot day can raise body temperature so much that it can cause heat stroke, a very serious condition. Is it bad if after giving a toddler ib profin his fever is only taken down to 99.5 and not normal. Over an hour has passed sincemed. Pediatricians?
Depends: The big question is why does your toddler have the fever. Various ailments cause fever to include but not limited to viral and bacterial causes. If viral, time usually is only cure. Tylenol can be alternated with Motrin when not enough by themselves; however it treats the symptoms and parents, not the ailment.
