5 Months Pregnant And No Movement
Possibly: Some women will feel their babies moving inside as early as 16 or 18 weeks, however many women will not feel the baby moving until 22 or 24 weeks. Occasionally there will be a woman who never really feels the baby moving inside - this is sometimes referred to as "numb belly syndrome".
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
FEELING SOME TYPE OF MOVEMENT IN MY STOMACH, AND MY PERIOD WAS FIVE DAYS LATE. EVEN THOUGH I STARTED TODAY CAN I STILL BE PREGNANT?
Unlikely: The presence of a period means no pregnancy.
Dear sir, my wife is pragnent from last five monthes but she still not feel any movement or motion from baby side is there any wrong? I
You tell us: What did your wife's OB say? Is the baby growing? Is there a heart beat? Is her stomach increasing in size?
I just had a baby five months ago and it feels like a baby moving inside me, the fluttering. Pregnancy tests say negative and have daily bowel movemen?
Anatomy: This is not a mystery. Think of anatomy. In your lower abdomen you have intestines, bladder and colon. You are feeling fluids, gas or stool. Perhaps at your age it is time to get more attune to your body and the simple easily understood anatomy you live with. Gas and fluids and stool are moving constantly. An inflamed or irritated bladder or small intestine can constrict or swell.
My wife is 5 months pregnant but she can't feel any movement of baby. We had a iur anamoly scan on 18th week and things were fine.
First time mom's: First time mom's often do not appreciate fetal movement until 20-22 weeks or so. The second time around they may detect it as early as 16 weeks. I'd just be patient as it sounds like your scan provided you with the confirmation that things were fine.
Soon: Most women can detect fetal movement by 16 weeks or so the second time around while it is more like 20 the first. Of course the kid has to cooperate. Many are somewhat quiet during pregnancy and some act like soccer players.
16wks4days pregnant with 2nd baby. Still haven't felt baby move. Should I be worried? When do women normally feel movement?
Don't worry: There is a lot of variation as to when women first feel their babies move. Usually it's between 16-20 weeks, and usually a little later for first pregnancies than subsequent pregnancies.
I'm 26w pregnant today. My baby's movement patterns are different during the weekend than when I'm at work. She doesn't move as much. Concern?
Fetal movement: Probably not. At that gestation, movements are not as forceful ; you are not expected to feel all of them. When you are distracted by work, telephone calls, other children, etc, you are less likely to feel the majority of movements. If you note that you haven't felt the baby moving, take a few minutes, or an hour ; concentrate just on movement ; most likely you will feel it. If not call your dr.
Hi im 24weeks+4days pregnant, and usually I feel my baby move everyday and the movement are quite strong, but for the past couple of days I haven't?
5 movements/hr: I am sure OB colleagues more expert than I will answer. 5 movements per hr are expected. Regradless you should call your ob.

Am 19 weeks and 3 days pregnant yet I haven't felt baby kicks and movement yet. Please enlighten me more on this, when will I start feeling it?
Week 21 to start.: Some motion occurs fairly early in development but is so slight that it cannot be felt by the mother motion that may be noticeable to you starts at about week 21. However, that it is not true for every pregnancy.
Pregnant with 23weeks. Having brixton hicks 4-5times in a day. Due to these, can't feel baby movement. Hw can I differentiate baby bumps &brixton hicks?
Difference: Baby bumps feel like heavy butterflies in your stomach, braxton hicks feels like your period.
37.4 pregnant & today I haven't felt as much movement by baby, he will move but only slowly & not getting as many sharp movements, had water & chocolate?
Count the kicks: Hi Julia, Usually at 37 4/7 wks the baby seems to "slow" down. They get larger and their movements are larger. The whole body moves as compared to the numerous kicks felt around 30 weeks when he was smaller and had more fluid around him. Drinking something cold & sweet was a great idea. If no increase in movement with in the hr. Following the chocolate then I suggest evaluation at the hosp.
18-22 weeks: Most first time moms will feel the baby move from 18 to 22 weeks pregnant. Some can feel as early as 16 weeks. It will take 2 to 4 weeks later for others to feel the baby move after you do.
I suspect I'm pregnant because I've been feeling movement, but I've gotten negative test results?
See below: If you are a week or more past the date for your period, you did the test correctly and it was negative, you are not pregnant. The movement may be intestinal movement, not fetal movement.
I'm 21wks pregnant. I'm not feeling as much movement as I feel I should. Some days less. Is that normal?
Check with OB: You need to call your OB md and advise him/her of your concerns.
22weeks pregnant. Baby moves but not often hardly every and movement is very light. Should I be concerned?
No: Some women start to feel fetal movements as early as 16 weeks. As long as you feel some movement at least twice a day; it's normal at this stage. In the third trimester, you want to feel about 10 movements in 1-2 hours. Drinking or eating something cold and sweet usually stimulates more movement.See 1 more doctor answer
