Had hydrocele surgery June 1. More comfortable than prior to surgery but testicle still a little more 2x than other one. Does not illuminate?
Normal finding: Part of hydrocele always remains after hydrocele surgery. Fluid is drained & hydrocele sac is inverted & sewn together behind testis (Bottle procedure); some surgeons roll up hydrocele sac (Lord procedure). In both cases testicle will remain larger than other side & may slowly diminish in size with time. This explains why your post surgery testis does not trans-illuminate. Don't be concerned. ...Read more

Are nuvarings good for longer than 4 months if kept in fridge? Ordered 90 day supply, forgot had 3 in fridge. Exp dates on boxes are 3/16 & 7/17.
Conditional, yes: If the Nuvaring are kept in the refrigerator then they tend to remain active in preventing pregnancy for up to one year. However, I would use supplemental barrier contraceptive such as a condom to be certain that there is no failure with the "expired" Nuvaring. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Can implantation occur a little less than 48 hours after sex? Positive pregnancy test less than 48 hrs after intercourse as well.
Anatomy : Nope. Absolutely not. First: the sperm have to swim through the cervix, through the uterus, out the fallopian tube and find an ovulated egg. This takes more than 48 hours. Second an impregnated egg does not have any connection to the mothers body for over one week after impregnation and even then does not produce enough hormone for the mother's blood to be carrying it. It is impossible to test. ...Read more

Peers telling me i'm gonna die because i jog 20 minutes every other day and my heart rate is 180-190 during the session. I'm 18 can I continue excercise?
My liver tests are as follows:

Should I be concerned
? Gilbert's disease: It is a familial (autosomal dominant), common (2-5% of people), unconjugated hyperbilirubinemia (blood bilirubin measures 1-5mg/dl), not due to breakdown of blood. It is associated with reduced enzyme levels of udp glycuronyl transferase, that results in jaundice when patients fast or suffer an infection. It does not shorten life or raise insurance rates, but may predispose to tylenol (acetaminophen) toxicity. ...Read more
I drink more than 3 drinks per day on average (working on cutting down). I took 1 325mg Acetaminophen pill this morning at 8AM. Any concerns of OD?
No: Even small amounts of alcohol daily may affect the liver and while taking acetaminophen of that amount may not cause an overdose, it may be dangerous for you if you have liver problems. Needs monitoring: Your BP needs close monitoring as we need multiple reading, taken at rest, before we can know your true BP. If the next 2-3 readings show your BP to be at 140/90 or more, then you would be labelled as hypertensive. If the BP is below this level then you should recheck it again every 3-6 months for one year before you will be certain whether your BP requires medical treatment of not. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
