Re: CFS+hypersomnia — I'm on modafinil & tricyclics. Am less hungry & sleep well, but still exhausted & not alert. Any other drugs effective for this?
Maybe nothing--just : Often by 5 months, most pregnant women feel nothing else beside an enlarging belly and possibly craving of some foods, eating more, peeing more (uterus pressing on bladder). Some may have some back-ache because of the change body shape/wt etc..Otherwise, morning sickness should not be a big issue at this stage for most women. Congrats on pregnancy. Good luck. ...Read more

Ttc; 5 days late, hpt neg, passed 3 large blood clots today, stringy. What is this? All signs of pregnant until today, confused. Help!?
On birth control + withdraw method.. pregnancy test negative 3 days before period supposed to start.. what are chances I'm pregnant?
Too soon to know: Conception, as defined by the generation of a fertilized ovum, occurs within day or so of the sex. However, it takes about 2-3 weeks for the embryo to make enough HCG to produce a positive pregnancy test. Blood test may be done a day after a missed period. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex. Get HPV vaccine. ...Read more
Can i still take folic acid 400mcg with the pregna care which is includ folic acid 400 much or that will be over dose? I'm pregnant 12 weeks now
Yes: Not an overdose at all, in fact many prenatal vits contain 800 mcg. Folic acid is non-toxic at any dose. However, 1/3 to 1/2 of people have difficulty converting Folic Acid to the active form, l-5-methyltetrahydrofolate (l-5-mtfh) so to be safe you might want to take the l-5-mthf form in future pregnancies. Folate (folic acid) is most important the first few weeks of pregnancy when the neural tube is forming. ...Read more
