Can one take propranolol and 5-htp and l-tyrosine together? Are there any interactions between them one should be aware of?
Are there any dangerous interactions between alcohol and a combination of 5-htp and l-tyrosine? How long must you wait in between if so?
I take alprazolam 0.50 when needed to (usually 2 to 3 times a month). Are there none interactions with that drug and st johns wort or 5-htp daily?

Surprisingly, maybe: The dose used on the scalp is at least the same milligram number as the usual oral dose. while it generally doesn't get it, with irritated or scratched scalp I wouldn't rule it out. AND if it gets in, the blood pressure will drop and this can cause palpitations.. 5ht, and valerian interact through seratonin but aren't likely to give much serotonin syndrome. ...Read more
Hv left temporal lobe epilepsy; on 150 mg lamictal n 400 mg tegrator twice daily. Started on 5-htp time release 200mg. Wat's danger, drug interaction?
Tegretol/Lamictal: Those 2 do have a moderate interaction. This combination may cause restlessness, seizures, tremors, slurred speech, staggering walk, and feeling light-headed or fainting.
