How is it proven when implantation occurs? Different things are said: 3-5 days after ovulation, 6-10 days...?

Very good question: Historically, based on 1) studies of 'endometrial recptivity', 2) non-human primates (rhesus monkeys), and 3) embryo transfer in ivf. Home pregnancy tests should be done 4-5 days after the missed period. If the result is negative repeat the test in 4-5 days. Use first morning urine and follow instructions for the test carefully. If you do not wish to be pregnant, use contraception all the time, every time. You may consider implanted contraceptive, or IUD. Practice safe sex. ...Read more

Pain in the lower part of the stomach. As before menstruation. Five days after ovulation. We had a petting. What could it be?Thanks

Too soon: It's too soon for the symptoms you describe to be related to pregnancy, if that is your concern. It takes 4-5 days after intercourse for a pregnancy to implant, so 5 days after ovulation there are no symptoms related to pregnancy. Thus could be uterine cramping or could be due to your intestines. ...Read more
