Your medications: The Modafinil is a stimulant which can cause abnormal hearth rhythms. Your levothroid, if not properly dosed could do it as well, ask your doctor for a blood test to make sure that dose is not too high for you. Being 58 years old, you could have heart problems unrelated to the medications. You should see a doctor to get this evaluated. ...Read more

? Gilbert's disease: It is a familial (autosomal dominant), common (2-5% of people), unconjugated hyperbilirubinemia (blood bilirubin measures 1-5mg/dl), not due to breakdown of blood. It is associated with reduced enzyme levels of udp glycuronyl transferase, that results in jaundice when patients fast or suffer an infection. It does not shorten life or raise insurance rates, but may predispose to tylenol (acetaminophen) toxicity. ...Read more

Vit d 6.84 ng/ml, can cause only legweaknes(on and off) low energy(on and off), hairloss. So low vit d causes any other symptoms? Is sunlight enough?
This level is low!: This vitamin d level is very low. Vitamin d not only helps your body absorb calcium much better, it also affects your muscle and core strength. We don't recommend spending too much time getting sunlight as as the primary source of vitamin d, due to the risk of skin cancer! see your doctor for a temporary high dose of vitamin d to 'catch you up', then take 1000-2000 units of vitamin d3 daily. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer
Any hypertensive meds that don't cause hair loss? Vasotec, lebatalol, diovan, bystolic (nebivolol) work but cause hair loss. Benicar doesn't reduce dystolic #.
Unusual side effect: I have treated pts for forty years, and i can't remember that complained of hair loss after starting any of these agents. That does not mean it never happens (one lesson i've learned in medicine is never say never). Every drug has a huge list of adverse effects because each one a pt complains of in a study gets listed. Vasotec is an ace, Diovan (valsartan) & Benicar r arb's, same effects. Hair loss unlikely. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Certainly it is possible that pernicious anemia may co-exist or exacerbate duodenitis via immune process or loss of balance in duodenal fluid, or anemia. But the causal-effect relationship is not well established. ...Read moreSee 2 more doctor answers
No: Vitamin b17 is not a vitamin, but an utterly cynical scam from the 1970's with rich right-wingers ripping off poor right-wingers. You are being targeted for a sucker. Examine the court transcripts in the laetrile rutherford case and decide if you want these people do do your thinking. It's still sold as "apricots from god", but failed every basic test. ...Read more
12 years post op rny, iron 20 & vitamin d at 10. Seeing a new dr that hasn't worked with deficient gastric bypass, is 325ferrous 3x and 2000d 1x okay?
Nutrition!: A gastric bypass is a very complex nutrition situation. If your physician has not dealt with it much i would suggest asking for a referral to a nutritionist or a bariatric center. That being said, the dosage of iron is fda approved treatment for iron deficiency, and the vitamin d is a reasonable amount. You have many nutrient levels that should be monitored and carefully watched! ...Read more
