Perhaps - go to L&D!: After three days past your due date (provided an early ultrasound confirmed its accuracy) the risk for the fetus to die is greater in utero than in the nursery, so you do not want to be pregnant much longer. Labor: You are still minimally dilated, but at 41 weeks you can certainly go into labor at any time. Most times obstetricians won't let you go past 42 weeks. So you should have your baby soon. Good luck! ...Read more

L;D: At 41 weeks, most doctors would recommend induction of labor to avoid a possible intrauterine fetal demise. While some doctors feel comfortable going to 42 weeks, i think it's reasonable to go to l;d and see if you're dilated and possibly stay at hospital for induction or augmentation of labor. While no across the board consensus on induction at 41 weeks, *most* doctors do induce at this point. ...Read more
