40 Weeks Pregnant And Upper Back Pain
Please call your OB: Now to make sure u are ok, if you were my pt at age 42 and 40 weeks pregnant I would induce you, a recent large study shows the ideal time for the baby to be delivered is 39-40 weeks, in my hands and most ob's hands induction is safe easy and effective, once you go past your due date too many bad things could happen to both you and baby and baby could have already been safely delivered!
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
Hi From few days like for about 2 weeks I have tender and heavier breasts with sore nipples. Upper back pain too. .. Is this a sign of early pregnan?

Upper back pain, slight curve in spine. Chiropractor says I need 40+ session. Second opinion? Please see xray: http://tinypic. Com/r/f4oetj/5
Second opinion yes: Nice idea to show us the xray very useful not a very bad curve in a 38 year old person I would definitely seek another opinion upper back pain can be very hard to treat but is not usually indicative of serious pathology and I would tend to doubt that the curve has much to do with it / seek out an orthopedic spine specalist perhaps best of luck with this problem.
Varies: Commonly, upper back/shoulder blade pain can be from the neck or bursitis around the blade. Upper back pain could be from the shoulder or referred. Common referred sources include: abdomen, heart and neck. Shoulder sources include: arthritis, labral tears, instability, tendinitis, rotator cuff tears, bursitis, painful bony spurs etc. Ribcage pain can be from rib joints. See orthopedics.
Pain to touch?: This is usually the sign of a bruise, spasm, or tendinitis. Pain to the touch is not likely nerve related. If the pain is between the spine and your shoulder blade, I would consider levator syndrome (muscle irritation) likely due to posture especially computer work. Rest, ice, nsaid's, and salonpas hot patches (capsacian patches) are good. Change your posture, monitor at eye level.
May be stress: Your upper back more or you have weakness of the upper back muscles.See 1 more doctor answer
Several things: This problem can only be solved by seeing your doctor and being evaluated face-to-face. After a thorough examination, your doctor should be able to tell you what's wrong and what to do about it.
Back pain: The back pain can be caused by muscle spasm, spinal stenosis, ruptured disc, nerve impingement. .. The treatment depends on the cause of the pain. It might include strengthening exercise, physical therapy, medication, interventional therapy, surgery. .. You should seek help from a health care provider, you might benefit from a comprehensive evaluation.
Sounds like he's: Coughing hard & has pleuritic chest pain; irritation of the lining around the lungs. Is he up-to-date on his immunizations? There have been some whooping cough (pertussis) outbreaks & older kids don't necessarily " whoop." he needs to see his pediatrician, who'll probably get a chesr xray & labs. Sadly, you shouldn't give him anything to suppress the cough unless his doctor gives the okay.
