Talk to UR obstetrii: Postdated pregnancy? , if true by the usg estimation of gestation , talk to ur obs. Doc. After waiting for few day, less than a wk , they may plan induction of labor- medication induced vs caesar.S based on pelvic findings, any foetal distress, failure of induction with medications .There are still chance sthat your pregnancy can end up successfully in a normal labor. Any day but depends,: Your physician has many options and decisions to make. If the baby is getting to large or not growing he/she may opt to induce now. If all is well one might wait up to 42 weeks. Rarely will one go past 42. Another decision will be vaginal delivery or C-Section if you do not progress. Follow up with your physician, they certainly will look out for your best interest. Delivery!: Sounds like labor is close by. Lower back pain is often a symptoms of the cervix dilating. Your doctor should have given you instructions on when to go to the hospital. If not, call the labor and delivery unit at the local hospital for advice. ...Read more
