Any day but depends,: Your physician has many options and decisions to make. If the baby is getting to large or not growing he/she may opt to induce now. If all is well one might wait up to 42 weeks. Rarely will one go past 42. Another decision will be vaginal delivery or C-Section if you do not progress. Follow up with your physician, they certainly will look out for your best interest. Universal mystery: Since the advent of time itself, mankind (&womankind alike) have wanted a way to initiate labor "naturally". Your induction will use a drug called Pitocin (oxytocin). I'm 37 weeks today and i'm dilated 2-3 cm. Should my doctor induce me already?
