Is it normal to have no morning sickness and other pregnancy symptoms?I'm 4 weeks pregnant and just little sore breast and mild pain in stomach& back

Pregnancy: there is no rule in pregnancy that you will have any symptoms at any certain time. Things are mostly generalities. As an example morning sickness usually goes away after the first trimester, but some women puke their whole pregnancy. There are as many exceptions as there are commonalities. Some women have all, none or some of the classic symptoms of pregnancy. ...Read more

See or call your OB: You may not be pg anymore , you need a quantitative bhcg and a Progesterone level, and u may need a 2nd one to show it is either decreasing or increasing, and u may need an ultrasound , cause if u are pg want to make sure it is in the uterus and not the tube so call your OB now , as your OB is on call the weekend or has someone covering for him or her. ...Read more

I am 10 weeks pregnant, saw heartbeat on ultrasound at 7 weeks, but other then sore breasts i don't feel pregnant at all. Could something be wrong?

No: Different people have different symptoms during pregnancy, some people do not feel pregnant at all and that is normal. If you have any concerns, you should ask your OB to check the heartbeat of the baby which can be done at 10 weeks. ...Read more

I am 6 weeks pregnant but the only symptom I have is sore breasts. My HCG levels have more than doubled. Is lack of symptoms a bad sign?

I am 6 weeks pregnant but the only symptom I have is sore breasts. My HCG levels have more than doubled. Is lack of symptoms a bad sign?

Not a bad sign: Pregnancy varies from person to person; pregnancy symptoms vary from one pregnancy to the next in same individual. Lack of symptoms now does not preclude or indicate symptoms in the future weeks. Be grateful for this symptom free time. The hcg levels doubling is a great sign. Symptoms may come as levels rise. Congrats! ...Read more

Possibly 5 weeks pregnant. Should i be worried? Im 2 days late on my period sore breasts oderless clear discharge heartburn and a burning cramping feeling in the lower abdomen all day long. I took a pregnancy test and it was negative, is it possible i sti

There : There is a chance that you could be pregnant. The hormone of pregnancy (beta hcg) that is detected in over the counter home pregnancy test varies from test to test, meaning the amount it picks up varies. If you are in the early stages of pregnancy, then there is a chance that the level is too low for the test to pick it up so to speak. To be certain a blood test can be ordered by your familty doctor or ob/gyn to give you a definitive answer. The more pressing issue is the the burning and cramping you are feeling in your lower abdomen. This could be a sign that you may miscarry if you are pregnant, premenstrual cramps, or even a UTI (urinary tract infection). It is up to your doctor to figure this out.On the other hand, if in fact you are pregnant, serial blood tests can be done to determine if your pregnancy is progressing or not (inevitable miscarriage). Either way you need to be seen right away. Good luck to you. ...Read more

Sounds normal: Breast soreness, fatigue and urinary frequency are common symptoms of early pregnancy. Although morning sickness also occurs during the first 3 months, not every pregnant woman will experience that. Good luck, hope you continue to feel well throughout! ...Read more

Docs, i'm 8+4 weeks pregnant my breast have stopped being sore, my symptoms have gone, am i going to miscarry? I have no bleeding and mild cramping.

Not necessarily: These pregnancy symptoms can come and go throughout the early pregnancy, so it does not necessarily mean you will miscarry. This early on there are no real things you can do to prevent pregnancy loss, so just have patience and see your OB next week. ...Read more
