Likely normal: Firstly, congratualtions on the birth of your child! it is likely that those spots are due to hormonal changes in your body affecting the pigment making cells in your skin. However, i would show them to your gyn just to be sure. One would really need to see what it looks like in order to properly explain what exactly those spots are. ...Read more

Hungry baby: First of all do you have enough breast milk. Give your baby the breast. After20-30 minutes, if he takes more than 1-2 ounces you dont have enough breast milk. Beta-blockers should not be stopped abruptly as there is a significant risk of acute tachycardia and hypertension along with the potential of an acute myocardial infarction (heart attack). Yes: gas can be uncomfortable for newborns and can cause them to wake. However, 7 week olds may not be sleeping for other reasons as well. First question is how often is your baby sleeping.
