Good question: About 2/3 pregnant women have heartburn. The main cause is hormones (mainly progesterone). Avoid large, spicy, and fatty meals. Avoid lying down and bending over especially after eating. You can try over the counter antacids such as Tums (calcium carbonate) or Nexium/Prilosec if these other recommendation don't help.
