39 weeks pregnant having contrations and viginal discharge?

33 wks pregnant irregular painless contractions, positive ffn test, 1 CM dilated, baby well into pelvis, 6th pregnancy, will i give birth early?

Hard to say: The fetal fibrobectin test is much more predictive of the real condition, or the truth, when the test is negative, than when it is positive. A single positive ffn test result is not highly predictive of preterm labor and delivery, and since you are probably not in active labor from irregular contractions, it's hard to answer your question with confidence. What is the cause of swollen feet in 39 weeks pregnancy?

39 weeks & 3 days pregnant my dr wants to induce labor.. R there any risk for me or baby?

There are the: Usual risks assocaited with childbirth. It is safer than anytime in history to deliver a baby. The decision to induce can be declined but i wouldnt wait too long. Consider that the baby is just getting bigger, on average about 1/2 pound per week. At 39 weeks the baby is not at increased risk from prematurity. Good luck, try not to worry too much. ...Read more

Hello, I am 39 weeks and 1 day pregnant, and I don't have any sing of labor. Is there any thing that might help me? The amniotic fluid index is 9

Consider induction: Labor can come on suddenly without warning signs; that is OK/normal. An amniotic fluid index greater than 8 is considered normal. If you want to go into labor, talk to your provider about induction. Many Obs will induce labor at 39-40 weeks if your cervix is ripe. If this is your first baby, its better to wait until at least 40 weeks. Best wishes! ...Read more
