Term pregnancy: At that point, the pregnancy is full term and will be "stillborn." A sad situation and I feel for her. She will likely have her labor induced and deliver vaginally if possible. Please call your OB: At 38 wks preg all ?S should be directed to your doc who knows you, you may be trying to go into labor and the baby may be dropping, if you were my pt, i would check the baby and do a cervical check to see if you are dilated and where the head is at, and a piece of advice form someone who has done 5k deliveries, don't go past your due date too many bad things can happen, easy to induce, and safe. ...Read more

This : This is something that should be reported to your doctor right away. You could be dealing with preeclampsia, which is defined as high blood pressure and excess protein in the urine after 20 weeks of pregnancy in a woman who previously had normal blood pressure. Nausea and headaches are both symptoms of this condition. This is a very serious issue and you need to be evaluated immediately if you have not done so already. I hope you and baby are well. Uterus: Her uterus has gotten bigger and as it's grown it continues to push up on her stomach. In addition, the hormones of pregnancy have slowed the rate food is processed. So food sits longer in her stomach and moves through intestines longer. All of this leads to sour stomach. Best is small frequent meals. Prop up some pillows to sleep against to avoid laying flat.
