Reason for checking: I suppose the answer would vary depending on why it was checked. If there were certain symptoms or problems then the tests need to be analyzed in that context. Simply looking at only these numbers with no context they do not appear particularly abnormal for the 3rd trimester of pregnancy. Discuss with Ob: Scrubbing the floor is not an issue that would help. Clarify with your doctor what management will be done knowing the baby has a double nuchal cord. Options included serial sonograms, biophysical profiles, nonstress testing and others. Depending on your overall prenatal care induction of labor or even c section may be considered at some point. It depends: There are so many factors in this question. Is this the first child? How long have you been 2/3 cm? And there is a lot of variability. As much as i hate to say it, there is no way of telling how long your labor may be, from 2-3 hours to over 24 hours. For children 2, 3, 4, etc.... That time will likely diminish.
