Is 36 weeks considered full term? -- and why don't you stop labor after 36 weeks?

Second, babies seem to do just as well if we stop the labor as if we don't. Third, there is a risk of infection with pre-term delivery at 36 weeks and we don't want to expose your baby to infection. ...Read more

Im 36 weeks pregnant and my girth is 38 CM is it big?

Sounds normal: The fundal height measurement of 38 cm at 36 weeks is likely normal. In most women the measurement is plus or minus 2 cm, so 34-38 cm at 36 wks is normal. However the fundal height only measures one dimension of the uterus so it is only a rough estimate of the baby's growth. At your next visit ask your doctor how big he/she thinks your baby is. ...Read more

Hi, I am 36 weeks pregnant. But my baby's growth is 32.5 weeks? Is it major problem?
