Call your doctor right away. As you are in your third trimester of pregnancy, you need to call your doctor so that he/she can determine if you need to be further assessed. Headaches are common during pregnancy and can be attributed to hormonal changes, lack of sleep, stress, dehydration and women who were previously succeptible to tension headaches or migraines can experience worsened symtpoms.
In the second or third trimester, it is important to have severe headaches assessed to assess for preeclamsia, a serious pregnancy induced condition that is characterized by headache, protein in the urine, high blood pressure and can induce siezure.
Also, call your doctor if your headache is combined with blurred vision, sharp abdominal pain, sudden weight gain adn swelling. You'll need to be assessed right away. ...Read more
I've got really bad pain in my right side, it seems to be worse during the night when i wake up for a wee, i'm also 35 weeks pregnant?
See an OB/GYN: This could be caused by one of several factors. The enlarging uterus has a nasty habit of occupying spaces formerly reserved for other structures and organs, and this can occasionally create problems like urinary tract issues, etc. See your obstetrician and they can help work this out for you. Have a great baby. ...Read more

35 weeks pregnant with rib pain on left side went away for a day now its back any idea what i can do to relieve the pain?
The baby is moving : You may consider seeing an osteopathic physician, who can help support you through your pregnancy as the fetus gets larger thru gentle manipulation. This will create some space for your body to handle the increased size of your growing baby. Also deep breathing may be helpful, as it'll help the diaphragm to relax. Pregnant mom yoga tapes may show gentle postures to do too. ...Read more
Do you have to sleep on your left side when pregnant . I'm 35 weeks pregnant and am only comfortable sleeping on my right?
Either side is fine: As the baby grows and enlarges the uterus, this can press on the vena cava (large vein returning blood from your legs to you heart), thus reduces this flow. Laying on your back causes this problem, but much much less so when you are on either side. So if more comfortable on r, then lay on your right. Comfort improves sleep and you will need good sleep. Congratulations and best of luck to you! ...Read more

Im 35 weeks pregnant, I just got up from sitting then a sudden pain in my top right side of buttocks feels like a bone is out of place, what happened?
One of two things: Either the baby was putting pressure on a pelvic nerve when you were sitting and stood up or the ligaments in the pelvis "shifted" slightly. The ligaments that connect your pelvic bones begin to "loosen" during pregnancy to allow for the baby's head to pass through the pelvis at labor and the pelvis itself can slightly move as a result when positional changes are made. ...Read more

Im 35 weeks pregnant and have had a very good pregnancy. Recently ive started getting the hip pain. My concern i have bad pain in my left side of body?

What do you advise if I am 35 weeks pregnant with severe pain in my left side of hip bone at night mostly?
Lots of Reasons: When pregnant, there are so many things going on. Your hormones are very different causing your ligaments to stretch quite a bit especially in the pelvis resulting in pain. Also the baby's position can place stress on your spine resulting in bulging discs or even herniated disks causing the sciatica pain. Recommend seeing a pregnancy specialized therapist that can guide you through this. ...Read more
I'm 35 weeks pregnant and been passing a lot of,poo. Today and my left side of my belly. Keeps going hard?
Constipation ?: I don't think this problem is serious at first glance, and use of gentle stool softeners should help relieve any belly hardness, if this is constipation. In any event, making a visit to your OB immediately will remove any concerns about early labor, although belly hardness on one side does not appear to be uterine contractions. Let us know how your care is progressing ...Read more
