35 Weeks Pregnant Labor Symptoms
I am 35 weeks pregnant and think I'm in labor. I am having pickle/sweet smelling yellowish/greenish discharge.
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
Could mean more: Brown discharge is usually old blood. A mucusy discharge that is mixed with a brown discharge can be the mucus plug coming out. 2 important points: first, you are under 37wks or preterm & preterm labor needs to be ruled-out. Second, if the discharge is more watery, an OB doc needs to make sure you didn't break your water, so you should call your OB and been evaluated at your hospital. ...Read more

35 weeks pregnant and overwhelmed with major sweats and hot flashes. Now I'm dealing with lose bowels. Is this a sign labor is approaching?
Pressure: 35 wks.: At 35 weeks of pregnancy, especially if it is your first, there is little room and your abdominal muscles are stretched, and the baby is moving actively. This is generally not caused by early labor. If the timing of the "tightness" is regular and every 4-6 minutes, you should be checked by your OB for early labor. If not, just wait: true labor is not subtle and you will know when it happens! ...Read more
I hope not: 35wks is a bit too soon to deliver. If you begin to feel cramping or other signs that premature labor is starting you should contact your OB immediately & arrange to be evaluated. Pre-term labor can be stopped if the process is recognized early enough. Add another few wks & you can avoid a nicu stay for baby. ...Read more

Can sex make you go into labor or start to dialate at 35 weeks pregnant cause I have been cramping a little bit?
Sometimes: Having sex, and having orgasms can definitely make one contract. Typically those contractions induced by intercourse are short lived, but if they persist or get stronger - then you should call your doctor and have an exam. In general, intercourse is safe for most uncomplicated pregnancies. Just watch to see if the contractions don't resolve on their own. ...Read more
After passing your mucus plug how long can u go into labor? ....I seems to past minds at 35 weeks pregnant can I make baby soon?
CALL YOUR OB: This is a question you should have already asked your OB! Your OB is on call or has someone on call 24/7 to help you! You can pass your plug from 1 day to weeks before you deliver. If you and the baby are ok which your OB can check that, you want to try not to deliver before 37 weeks as that is considered term, if a problem develops (hopefully it won't) u may need to be delivered soone. ...Read more

35 weeks pregnant 2 CM dilated 80 effaced with pre-term labor scare at 30 weeks, am I more likely to go into labor in days or weeks?
Unpredictable: If you've had vaginal births in the past or preterm births in the past, then the likelihood of early delivery is greater, but I have also had patients get up to 4cm and just stay that way for weeks, delivering ultimately at term. It is somewhat unpredictable, but with your cervix as it is, you should be closely followed by your OB. No steroids needed at this point. NICU care if born early. ...Read more

I am 35 weeks pregnant and have been experiencing a lot of pelvic pressure, some contraction appr 4 an hour and severe vaginal pain and some slight wetness in my underwear not caused by incontinence. Is this preterm labor? Should I go to the hospital?
Call for a ride now: At any gestational age, a patient with persistent wetness or gush of fluid should see an er or OB provider to determine if rupture of membranes (rom), in labor, etc. The same applies if pelvic pressure, pain and contractions. Often nurse or on-call physician will see her and admit for evaluation or, if rom at 35 weeks, for probable labor and delivery. I tell my patients to not delay by eating, etc. ...Read more

Probably not.: You say you are 35 weeks pregnant with twins. Not only are you close to term, but you have twins! That is a lot of weight on your pelvis, which will put a lot of pressure on it.
