I'm 34 weeks pregnant with twins. I was pressing my belly during a braxton hicks and felt a pop. I'm worried, could I have hurt my baby in any way?

Not likely: Unless you were pressing uncomfortably hard you should not have hurt anything. This was most likely muscle or ligament popping. If you had a gush of fluid associated with this, seek medical attention right away as some women will occasionally hear or feel a pop when the membranes rupture. ...Read more

I'm 34 weeks pregnant with mono/di twins, I have a burning feeling in my stomach constantly and i can feel ripping or tearing is this normal?

No.: Ripping or tearing sensation is not normal in any pregnancy and could be a harbinger of catastrophic uterine rupture. This is a rare but potentially lethal complication seen more commonly with multifetal pregnancies as compared to singletons, especially if the mother has had prior uterine surgery (c-section, myomectomy or other). Talk to your mfm/ob doctor asap to get to the bottom of this! ...Read more

Twins pregancy at 22 weeks with cervix lenght of 2.2 cm and U Shape. What are the odd of miscarriage before 34 weeks and advises?

Odds are hard to get: Twin pregnancies always carry a risk of preterm labor and premature delivery which has been very difficult to estimate despite research on cervical length, uterine contraction monitoring, measurements of cervical f-fibronectin etc... Studies on prophylactic measures like bed rest, cervical cerclage, progesterone supplementation are also controversial. Consult a MFM doctor, specialist in twins. ...Read more
