PUPPPS: Could also be Puritic Urticarial Papules and Plaques of Pregnancy, also known as PUPPPS. It is a condition of the skin that can happen during pregnancy causing itching and skin rash. Yes: In general this is a common complaint. There are two sources of this pain. The first is round ligament syndrome. The second is just the stretching of your pelvic support structures preparing to make room for you baby to deliver in a few weeks. Go se OB: I would surely get off of the smart phone and go see your ob. They need to know if you are in preterm labor. I am sure your prenatal instructions or book that the OB recommended also has a section on the common situations that arise at this point in your pregnancy.
