34 Weeks Pregnant Feeling Pressure
When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more
I am 34 weeks pregnancy and I'm experiencing extreme itchiness over my arms, hands, feet and stomach. What can be the cause for this?
PUPPPS: Could also be Puritic Urticarial Papules and Plaques of Pregnancy, also known as PUPPPS. It is a condition of the skin that can happen during pregnancy causing itching and skin rash. As the other doctor suggested gallbladder issues (common in pregnancy) can also cause skin itching. Best to see and discuss with your OB. Hope this helps. Best of luck and congratulations on the pregnancy. Dr RSee 1 more doctor answer
Not likely: Feeling sick to your stomach and having no energy at 34 weeks are not signs of impending labor.
I'm 34 weeks today with 2nd child. Baby has been head down/engaged since 29 weeks. I'm feeling extreme vaginal pressure and some pain. Early labor?
Call your OB's ofc: You need to speak with your ob's nurse or the OB and discuss your present symptoms. If you are in early labor, the chances of stopping it decrease as you get further into it. Chances of an nicu stay for baby are quite high at this point.
I am 34 weeks & for about a month now I have been feeling a lot of pressure in my pelvis & just recently have dropped significantly is this concerning?
Pretty normal: The further along you go in pregnancy, the more pelvic pressure you feel. Also, the baby starts to settle down lower in the pelvis the closer you get to delivery. Go to all your checkups and be sure to mention your concerns to your OB. Good luck!
Is it possible to have your fourth child at 34 weeks pregnant? Because I'm having all these pains and aches. I'm feeling a lot of pressure
Yes...but..: It is not a good time to give up. Pregnancy is frustrating, but at 34 wks your baby has > 50% chance of premi lung disease requiring a couple weeks in the NICU. The best way to avoid this stress on baby is to keep pregnant as long as possible. If you think you are in early labor go to L&D so they can try to stop it.See 1 more doctor answer
Get checked: The possibilities are endless although it's likely just pressure from the pregnancy. Have your doctor check it out
I am 34 weeks pregnant and am having a constant cramping feeling for about the past ten minutes is that normal?
Braxton Hicks Contra: These cramps if they feel like menstrual like cramps are due to irregular contractions called braxton hicks contractions but I will still advice you contact your OB doctor and get his/her advice as they know your case and can ask you some questions to make sure that's what it may be.
34 weeks and 4 days pregnant and for the last two days have been extremely emotional and woje up this morning feeling depressed. What's wrong?
Depression: Is very treatable, please your doctor and tell him.
I'm 34 weeks and 3 days pregnant. Why am I having a "burning" sensation feeling all over my stomach?
Skin stretching: If this is your first pregnancy, the abdominal surface skin is being stretched for the first time and the elastic cells contained therein are trying to accommodate those changes. There are several "stretch mark" oils and creams that can help with this sensation when applied liberally.
I am pregnant in 34 weeks and started to get this feeling of being burned just under left breast and it really hurts.
Neuropathic pain?: Burning pain is usually from nerves. There may be some compression of nerves in the area from the growing pregnancy. There may also be "heartburn" from the uterus pushing up on the stomach. You can try taking some Tums (calcium carbonate) to see if that helps. It's best to talk to your OB about this.
34 weeks pregnant: Most patients late in the third trimester begin to feel pressure, discomfort and often irregular contractions as they approach the big day. If you feel you are in preterm labor or that something is wrong you should be evaluated by your doctor
I'm 34 weeks pregnant, baby measuring a few weeks small, feeling nausea and mild pain on and off in bump, is this a sign that labor us near?
Call your OB: Could be, u do not want to deliver at 34 weeks unless there is some thing wrong with u or the baby and u need close monitoring if the baby is running behind.
34 weeks pregnant and woke up feeling like I am full of energy. Prenatal class teacher had mentioned it to be a sign of pre term labour, is this true?
Not really: You may be feeling the positive effects of exercising while pregnant. If you are concerned about any unusual symptoms call your doctor.See 1 more doctor answer
I am pregnant 34 weeks now. First, should I stop taking calcium supplement? Second I have been lately feeling pain in my tummy it's like pressure.
Listen to your body: Calcium supplements can cause constipation which can cause pain. They are not necessary. If one avoids sugar, salt, and fat and eats wholesome vegetables and high quality proteins one gets the correct nutrients. If having dairrhea calcium is probably not the cause of pain. Pressure could come from gas. A tea made with 1 t of thyme leaves steeped for 5 minutes and strained might help.
