When your due date arrives, you will be more than ready to have your baby! Most women deliver the baby somewhere between 37 and 42 weeks. According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

Depends: Livigen is iron and frolic acid and would be fine in a normal pregnancy. The abnormal lab values are concerning and I would need to know why they are elevated to say for sure that anything is safe. Good luck. ...Read more

I am in severe pain and I have been for a month. They prescribed me medicine 3 times and it’s not going away. I’m 33 weeks pregnant. Can I be induced early because the pain is excruciating and she is way to big for my body size?
Talk to your OB MD: You need to address this issue with your OB MD. Pregnancy pain can indicate several abnormal conditions, including abruption placenta. (premature placental separation) Your treating OB MD can perform an examination and ultrasound as well as conduct other tests as necessary. By the way, inducing a 33 week pregnancy is usually not an option due to fetal prematurity. ...Read more
I am 33 weeks pregnant and his body is measuring 33 weeks (roughly) and his weight is in the 41st percentile but his head was measuring 37 weeks. Is this cause for concern?
Not necessarily: Measurement late in pregnancy aren't always very accurate and if the baby is cephalic (head down) it can be quite difficult to get an accurate head measurement. I would ask your OB if the US showed any brain issues like dilated ventricles, but otherwise I wouldn't be overly concerned. ...Read more

I'm 33 weeks pregnant. My stomach is soft & it's KILLING me to walk or move lower body. What are some tips to help ease the pain. I'm miserable?
33 weeks pregnant. Feel like babies foot or leg was crushed by my ribs after sitting up too fast. Is this possible? It hurt my ribs.
Doubtful: Remember that the baby is surrounded by fluid, the amniotic fluid, in a large amniotic sac. It is doubtful that sitting up too fast would cause any harm to the baby, but it is possible you 'pulled a muscle' between your ribs called the intercostal muscle. Move more slowly and deliberately and avoid rapid movements! ...Read more

Possible abscess: A pimple with white stuff sounds like an infection. If it is very small, like an acne pimple on the face, it may clear with warm soaks in a few days. Anything larger should be seen by your doctor and man need to be incised and drained in order to heal properly. Especially in the event of premature labor and delivery to prevent exposing the infant to infection., ...Read more

I am 33 weeks pregnant. Is it safe to take Robitussin-DM max? I ave a runny nose and cough/congestion. When I cough the right side of my torso hurts.
No: Robitussin dm (guaifenesin and dextromethorphan) contains alcohol, which while it is not in a large amount, can be significant if you are taking even recommended doses every 4 hours or so. There is no amount of alcohol considered safe in pregnancy, so I would ask your pharmacist for an alcohol-free cough medication safe in pregnancy. The other stuff in it are dextromethorphan and antihistamines. Your OB is your first/best advisor. ...Read more

Yes, but don't panic: You are 33 weeks pregnant and measure big because you have extra amniotic fluid, called polyhydramnios. The most cause of this is gestational diabetes.
