Is it not safe to sleep on your back while pregnant? I'm 30 weeks!

Is it not safe to sleep on your back while pregnant? I'm 30 weeks!

Puts pressure: Sleeping on your back drops the weight of your baby right on your aorta, which can lead to decreased blood flow to the lower part of your body, including the uterus. Best is for you to tip even so slightly to the left side, which shifts the weight of the baby off that main blood supply. You can also actually sleep on your side, placing a pillow between your legs to reduce stress on your back. ...Read more
