Patience: I know that is probably frustrating for you. There is no question that if you persistently burn more calories than you take in that weight loss will occur, but it may take some time. Math does not add up: From your question, the math does not add up if you are taking 50 microgrm of thyroxin and your thyroid function like tsh, t3, (liothyronine) T4 are normal and you are on 1200 calories daily diet and you exercise intensely 3 times a week and still do not loose weight. I will recommend you see your doctor and/or nutritionist as to what you are doing is right or wrong. ...Read more

Depends: Could be a thyroid or other medical condition, so see a doctor to get this evaluated. Also depends on your net total daily calorie intake. If calorie intake is less than calories burned on a daily basis, over time you should lose weight.
