Belly pain: Hello, If your daughter is in severe abdominal pain right now, you should proceed to the ER to have her evaluated. It may be that the piece of the balloon is obstructing one of the "hang up" points in the GI tract that foreign bodies can get stuck, or she may have something else going on. Call your doctor: He could have hand-foot- and mouth, a viral illness that does go away on its own, but causes painful ulcers in the mouth and throat, and sometimes a rash. However, strep throat can cause the tongue to look white (strawberry tongue- white with dots on it), and strep throat can cause stomach pain. You don't always have a sore throat.
