According to the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, only 5% of babies arrive on the exact due date. Approximately 7% of babies are not delivered by 42 weeks, and when that happens, it is referred to ...Read more

I : I don't know what time period you took your tests, but it would be reasonable to wait two days from the last one and take another urine test. If you are still not sure, then you can go in and have a blood pregnancy test which is more accurate. If you get pain, vomiting, or new complaints then you must be seen as an emergency. ...Read more

I have missed three periods and after missing two periods I took a test and my pregnancy tests said negative could I still be pregnant?

I have missed three periods and after missing two periods I took a test and my pregnancy tests said negative could I still be pregnant?

See a doctor: If you have missed two consecutive periods and the pregnancy test still read as negative and it is a reliable pregnancy test, it would be unlikely that you're pregnant. With that said, there are false negatives, so you should consult a doctor to make sure you're not pregnant. He or she will also run other blood tests to see what else it may be if not pregnancy (i.e.: hormonal imbalance, etc.). s ...Read more

Hi..Had over 5 negative pregnancy tests and still have not recieved my period and I am over 3 weeks late.. Seeing a doc friday. What could be wrong?

Get checked,,: There can be many factors why this is. It could be a condition known as polycystic ovarian diseases (pcod) where there are high levels of hormones but no ovulation and few if any periods, or it can be due to oral contraceptive use and disuse, making the period irregular, or it can be that the test kit was defective or the test was done wrong. At any rate, it's the right thing to get examined. ...Read more

Had baby feb23 last period occured april 10th didn't do breast feeding. 3 negative pregnancy tests. Could i still be pregnant?

No: If you've had negative pregnancy tests, they are very accurate and thus it's safe to say you aren't pregnant. There could be other reasons that you're not having periods and given that it's been 4 months without a period, you should see a doctor. Extremes of weight (thin/heavy) can cause, as well as thyroid or pituitary problems. See a doctor to get checked out. Best of luck! ...Read more

Maybe - consider: repeating in 4 or 5 days if still no menses. Reasons for missed/late periods: low body weight, obesity, marked weight ^ or v, over-exercise, endurance athletics, breast-feeding, ^ stress, illness, eating disorders (bulimia or anorexia), anovulatory cycle (no egg released), travel, hormone irregularities, drug use, meds (i.e., birth control) or medical problems (i.e. PCOS). #1 reason is pregnancy. ...Read more

2 Pregnancy tests negative. 2 days very very light flow of period. Can i still be pregnant?

If testing too early: Home pregnancy tests are very accurate and not affected by foods, herbs, common illnesses, sexually transmitted diseases, or medications. A correctly done urine test gives a reliable result 3 weeks after sex (3 weeks after when conception might have happened) or 1 week after missing a period. If done sooner, a positive result is likely real, but a negative result may be due to testing too soon. ...Read more
