Infection: You should see your doctor. Fever/chills are symptoms of infection and you should have a full exam. If your period is late a pregnancy test is absolutely indicated if if is possible you're pregnant. Increased rest: You are by definition a "high risk" pregnancy because of your age alone. You should avoid straining, squatting, bearing down or any hi impact exercise. Increase time off your feet. Consider shortening your work hours and ask your OB about referral to a "maternal fetal medicine" specialist for further advice.
