28 Day Diet Boiled Eggs
I am currently on the dukan diet and I am eating two hard boiled eggs every day. Is it bad for my health?
Too much: Although no one, including me, can tell you with absolute certainty that two eggs a day will cause harm, it is generally considered a risk factor for heart disease and diabetes. If you want a healthy complete protein (all 9 amino acids) eat quinoa instead. It's gluten free. ...Read moreSee 1 more doctor answer

Will having 6 eggs (4 yolks) per day cause kidney problems? I workout. 6 days per week vigorous. I do have a 3000 calorie. Well balanced. Diet
NO: I know of no evidence that eating a lot of eggs will cause kidney problems. In someone who already has kidney failure a low-protein diet is advisable to prevent progression of the disease, but high protein should not cause problems in someone with healthy kidneys. However, I strongly advise that you (and everyone) eat only organic eggs; otherwise it is likely from chickens fed gmo corn &/or soy. ...Read more

Needs medical eval.: Nausea and decreased appetite can be symptoms of many underlying disorders, both physical and emotional. Yes: This is a very controversial question. I believe it is not a problem, an egg is an excellent source of protein and calcium, the yolk-large cholesterol content. However this cholesterol doesn't translate in the body to the 'bad' cholesterol. Very important is check your entire lipid panel on a doc checkup. If there is a cholesterol problem, then the diet has to be individualized. What else is new! ...Read more
Somewhat: Eggs are a good source of protein, but nearly half of the calories in eggs come from fat, although it is unsaturated fat. Eggs contain quite a few necessary vitamins and minerals.
