23 Weeks Pregnant With Painful Sores Inside My Nose
Sir. I am pregnant with 23 weeks. My nose has grown in size making me look bad. Plus at night my breathing is not regular for blocked nose and my snoring has increased. Please help.
Blood flow: The blood flow to all mucous membranes increases in pregnancy and can increase snoring and make you feel like you are congested. This will improve after you have the baby. Not normal, nor rare: This is not very rare, however it is not a normal pregnancy symptom and merits further investigation! women with nosebleeds are more likely than others to suffer severe hemorrhage during delivery and require blood transfusion. Does stuffy nose last thru out pregnancy due to the changes in the woman's body? Or will it go away. I am in 2nd trimester with stuffy nose and wondering how much longer till things clear up.

Yes,: very common in pregancy ; can use benadryl (diphenhydramine) and always warm showers the get mist of water into the nose and loosen secretions to drain them , a mini shower is nasal saline[just water with a sprinkle of salt ] to help drain during the day. can use flonase too. congrats on your pregnancy! breats feed for your and babies better health . ...Read more
